Definition

An extraordinary means of challenge before a state's highest court, in principle limited to reviewing whether the law was correctly applied, without re-examining the facts. The court is called محكمة التمييز in Kuwait and Qatar, and UAE federal legislation refers to النقض أو التمييز.
