For law firms
Legal AI for GCC law firms
Qanu is an Arabic-first legal workspace for firms across the Gulf. Research laws and regulations with citations, draft and review in Arabic and English, and keep every matter file in one place.

Inside the firm
Arabic law, English clients, one matter
GCC practice runs in two languages at once. Most tools are built for only one of them.
Arabic drafting and research
Pleadings, contracts, and regulator letters are drafted in Arabic, with legal terminology that general AI tools often get wrong.
English client work
International clients want English memos on onshore law, which means translating, re-checking, and keeping both versions in sync.
Work spread across tools
Research in one window, drafts in another, comments in email. Time goes into finding the latest version instead of the work itself.
The workspace
Research, documents, and playbooks in one place
Qanu keeps the firm's matter work together, so partners and associates review the same sources and the same drafts.
Cited legal research
Multi-step research in Arabic or English across GCC laws, regulations, and your matter files, with every answer linked to its source.
Matter documents
Store, permission, and version matter files in both languages, and restore a named version before anything goes to the client.
Playbooks
Codify the firm's negotiation standards and review Arabic or English contracts against them.
Legal library
Search official GCC legal sources, with clear provenance on every result.
Bilingual matters
Arabic and English in the same matter
The statute is in Arabic, the client memo is in English, and the contract is often both. Qanu keeps them in one matter instead of three folders.
Research in either language
Research in Arabic or English and get answers grounded in the law, with citations you can open and verify.
Both versions side by side
Keep the Arabic and English versions of a document in the same matter, with the same permissions and version history.
Right-to-left done properly
Arabic text, numbering, and citations render right-to-left across chat, documents, and the editor.
Alongside global tools
Works next to Harvey and Legora
If the firm already runs English DIFC or London work on Harvey or Legora, keep it there; Qanu covers the Arabic and bilingual GCC matters those tools weren't built for.

Who it's not for
Where Qanu isn't the right fit
Saying this up front saves time on both sides.
- Members of the public looking for quick legal answers. Qanu is a workspace for lawyers and does not give legal advice to the public.
- Firms whose practice is almost entirely English common law in DIFC, ADGM, or London. Harvey or Legora are likely the better fit there.
- Teams looking for a standalone chatbot. Qanu works inside matters, with sources, permissions, and review.

FAQ
Questions from law firms
Is Qanu built for law firms?
Yes. Qanu is a legal workspace for GCC law firms and in-house legal teams. Partners and associates research, draft, and review Arabic and English matters in one place.
Is Qanu a legal Q&A app for the public?
No. Qanu supports lawyers' work. It does not give legal advice to the public.
Which GCC jurisdictions does Qanu cover?
Qanu is built for legal work across the GCC. The library covers official sources for supported jurisdictions, including Saudi and UAE legislation, with more on the roadmap.
Can we keep using Harvey or Legora?
Yes. Keep them for English common-law work tied to DIFC, ADGM, or London, and use Qanu for Arabic and bilingual GCC matters.
Is client data used to train AI models?
No. Customer content is not used to train foundation models. Data can be hosted in KSA or the UAE, and enterprise teams can bring their own keys or run Qanu in their own cloud.
