For general counsel
Legal AI for general counsel in the GCC
Qanu is an Arabic-first legal workspace for in-house teams. Research regulations with citations, keep Arabic and English contracts in one matter, and brief outside counsel from the same file.

The in-house reality
One legal team between Arabic regulators and English deals
In-house work across the GCC rarely runs in one language or one tool. The regulation is in Arabic, the deal is in English, and the business wants an answer it can act on.
Bilingual matters
The same contract exists in Arabic and English, and both versions have to say the same thing. Keeping them aligned across email and shared drives is slow and easy to get wrong.
Outside counsel handoffs
Every brief to an external firm means re-sending context, chasing the latest draft, and reconciling their comments with your own.
Arabic regulations, English deals
Regulators, ministries, and onshore courts work in Arabic. Investors, lenders, and group companies often work in English. Your team sits between them.
What Qanu does for in-house teams
A shared workspace for the legal department
Research, contracts, and matter files live in one place your team works from, and outside counsel can join it when you invite them.
Regulatory questions, with sources
Ask about GCC laws and regulations in Arabic or English and get answers that cite the official source, so you can check them before you advise the business.
Contract review against your positions
Turn the company's negotiation standards into playbooks and review Arabic or English contracts against them before they go back to the counterparty.
Matter files outside counsel can join
Keep documents and versions in shared matters. Invite outside counsel as editors or viewers per matter, and revoke access when the engagement ends.
Arabic-first, bilingual by default
Built for Arabic, fluent in English
Qanu treats Arabic as a first language, not a translation layer, and keeps the English side of the matter right next to it.
Ask in either language
Ask in Arabic or English and get answers grounded in laws and regulations, with citations you can open and verify.
Both versions in one matter
Keep the Arabic and English versions of a contract or policy in the same matter, with the same permissions and version history.
Right-to-left done properly
Arabic text, numbering, and citations render right-to-left across chat, documents, and the editor.
Alongside global tools
Outside counsel can keep Harvey or Legora
If your external firms or group legal team run English DIFC or London work on Harvey or Legora, that work can stay there, while Qanu covers the Arabic and bilingual GCC matters your team handles next to it.
