Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Qanu platform, products, and related services (collectively, the "Services"), provided by KazeCorp Systems W.L.L ("Qanu", "we", "us", or "our").
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility and Account Registration
- You must have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.
- If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.
- You are responsible for safeguarding account credentials and all activities under your account.
- You must provide accurate and up-to-date registration information.
2. Scope of Services
Qanu provides software tools for legal workflow support, including document collaboration, legal search, and AI-assisted productivity features. Service availability and features may evolve over time as part of continuous improvement.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activities;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, data, or accounts;
- interfere with platform security, integrity, or availability;
- upload or transmit malware, harmful code, or malicious content;
- reverse engineer or attempt to extract proprietary source code except where permitted by law.
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or behavior that creates legal, operational, or security risks.
4. Legal and AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
The Services may generate or summarize legal information. Unless explicitly agreed in writing, Qanu does not provide legal representation, legal advice, or attorney-client services.
You are solely responsible for:
- reviewing outputs for legal accuracy and contextual suitability;
- validating documents before relying on or distributing them;
- obtaining advice from qualified legal professionals where required.
5. Intellectual Property
- Qanu and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the Services, including software, design, trademarks, and platform content.
- Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services for internal business purposes.
- You retain ownership of your uploaded content and materials, subject to rights required for us to operate the Services.
6. Data Handling and Security
Qanu implements commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data confidentiality and integrity. For details on personal data processing, see the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for securing endpoints, user devices, and account access controls on your side.
7. Fees and Commercial Terms
Certain features may be offered under free, beta, paid, or enterprise plans. Applicable pricing, billing terms, and payment obligations will be specified in plan details or a separate order form.
Failure to pay undisputed fees may result in service suspension.
8. Service Changes and Availability
We may update, modify, or discontinue features to improve reliability, security, or product quality. While we aim for high availability, uninterrupted service is not guaranteed.
Maintenance windows, outages, and third-party dependencies may affect access.
9. Third-Party Services
The Services may integrate with third-party tools or infrastructure. We are not responsible for third-party products, terms, or privacy practices.
10. Confidentiality
Each party agrees to protect non-public confidential information received from the other party using reasonable care and to use such information only for permitted purposes.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if:
- you materially breach these Terms;
- required by law or competent authority;
- necessary to prevent security, fraud, or abuse risks.
Upon termination, rights granted under these Terms end immediately.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KazeCorp Systems W.L.L will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption, arising out of or related to use of the Services.
Our aggregate liability for all claims under these Terms will not exceed the amount paid by you (if any) for the Services in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to liability.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Competent courts in Bahrain shall have exclusive jurisdiction, unless otherwise agreed in a written enterprise agreement.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice through the platform or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
